The next Military Relations Luncheon put on by the Topeka Chamber of Commerce will be on March 28 at the Ramada Topeka Downtown, doors open at 11 a.m., luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m.
The keynote address will be delivered by Maj. Gen. Victor Braden. He will discuss the 35ID’s recent mission as well as the challenges many veterans face during deployment and as they reintegrate back into the civilian workforce.
The Topeka area Armed Forces Personnel of the Year will also be recognized. They include: Master Sgt. Willie F. Carter, Kansas Army National Guard; Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Jamie Tuttle, United States Navy; Staff Sgt. Anthony Miller, United States Marine Corps; Yeoman Third Class Chloe L. Boatman, United States Coast Guard; and Chief Master Sgt. Troy C. Abel, Kansas Air National Guard.

Uniform can be either Class A or B for uniform personnel, business casual for civilian. Cost of the luncheon is $30 for military personnel and veterans, $40 for non-military attendee.
